Just wanted to say thank you so much for providing my mum with such a beautiful send off.

From the very first phone call to Elizabeth at Bow, to the beautiful ceremony yesterday. A&C Tadman provided us all with so much comfort. From the big decisions to the finer details, you went above and beyond I will forever be so grateful for your help and guidance during such a difficult time for us all. Your patience was so appreciated as we can rattle on as a family, but your empathy and dignity was never in question.

Also, a special thank you to your embalmer. My mum looked beautiful. She looked young and out of pain. The natural look was done to perfection and the greatest compliment I can say was she looked like she was asleep. Truly fantastic work.

Please pass on my thanks and best wishes to everyone involved with looking after mum. We couldn’t have asked for her to have been placed in a safer pair of hands than yourselves.

We had a resident pass away and she had a prepaid funeral plan with yourselves.

When the 2 Gentleman representing your company turned up to take the deceased from the home my senior informed me the next morning. The 2 Gentleman showed the upmost respect for the staff and especially the deceased person. She said that you could not find 2 most sincere people. So please can those 2 gentleman be thanked from the bottom of our hearts. We do not always have such a great service like that.

Dear Tim,

I’ve already written to Gemma to thank her and the team at Bow, but wanted to send you a personal thank you as you were so kind and patient with me on Wednesday, when I was faffing around and wanted to add those extra things onto my dad’s casket. I couldn’t believe how patient you were.

I’ve been telling my friends and family that from the second I met you I knew we were safe in your hands. I am a born panicker and worrier, so to have your calm and reassuring presence meant so much, on such a sad but equally important day for us. My dad took exceptional care of me since the day I was born and I wanted to do everything I could for him, just from me to him, we were a team, it was just us, always.

You guided us through the proceedings with nothing but great dignity and compassion, consummate professionals and that extends to Stephen and Mark, I didn’t get to speak to the 2 other men but they seemed equally as lovely. Stephen especially was very kind, if I could have hugged him I would have done, because you could clearly see he cared, to give the best possible service to the family, but it was more than that, I cannot explain but his warm and friendly smile, his professionalism made every bit of difference. We felt truly looked after.

I will not forget that you even tried to accommodate my wish to hold the coffin, you were so sweet for not dismissing that, I knew you would have made it happen which meant the world, there is nothing, within reason, you wouldn’t have tried to help with, I could see that. There are no words to express our gratitude to you. You didn’t put a foot wrong, you guided me through on a day when I needed a guardian Angel by my side, you were that person. Having talked to you a little about what you’ve gone through yourself, I can tell it has been nothing short of a nightmare, but testament to your strength, determination and commitment to what you hold dear to you, you’ve come through it bigger and better than ever and I wish you nothing but the best for all your hard work in a job that only a certain kind of person can do, and do with such grace and dignity. All credit to you Tim.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking after my dad, for doing everything possible to help me on the day of his funeral, without making me feel like I was a pain. It felt like you held my hand throughout the whole thing and for that I am eternally grateful.

I noticed you have premises in Hemel, we live in St Albans, so I’m glad to see you’ve expanded into our neck of the woods, I can certainly recommend you from east London all the way to Hertfordshire now.

Please pass on my sincere thanks to the whole team, Stephen, a gentle giant of a man, especially, was very kind and I shall never forget. It shows great character how we treat those who are in a vulnerable state and you should all be so very proud.

We just wanted to say how wonderful you’ve all been arranging Dad’s recent funeral.

From the moment we first ‘phoned, Jane was brilliant – nothing was too much trouble. She lead us through all the details with such care and attention taking on some of our more outlandish ideas with calmness and composure. Jane has a lovely way with her and makes you feel that you’re in the right place on such a sad and difficult occasion. One minute we were laughing and the next we were crying.

Tim, as ever, does a fantastic job leading the funeral procession with dignity, poise and respect. His attention to detail is first rate; his standards are the highest.

Most Loveliest Funeral

To Everyone

The loss of a parent is traumatic enough and having to deal with the funeral arrangements in this unprecedented time due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, it felt even more so.

As this was the first funeral arrangement I had made, I had no idea what was involved on top of all this there was also the strict guidelines to follow. However, I can truly say that over the whole of the three weeks between my mother’s passing and her cremation, Jane (Hemel Hempstead Branch) could not have been more helpful in making the complicated process easy. She liaised with West Herts Crematorium and was there with her patience, compassion and guidance. I never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble.

The Order of Service was produced by Tim, who also lead the procession to the crematorium. His warmth and kindness was truly a comfort to the family and even though due to the restrictions, the numbers that could attend were small, it did not detract from what they provided. Their attention to detail and the respect they showed my mum surpassed my expatiation.

The wonderful flower arrangements that accompanied my mother’s coffin, where exactly as I envisaged (this more so, due to the restrictions, we only saw them on the day). I could not of asked for anything more, truly perfection.

I would also like to thank you for the framed photo (to which was a true surprise and the lovely frame which they provided). This was given to my brother as a keep sake.

What was truly an emotional and upsetting experience, was made easier by everyone’s kindness and most importantly professionalism from the beginning to the end.

I just want to say a big Thankyou to you for agreeing the funeral of my aunt Florence Hiscox on Monday this week due to circumstances regarding payment of another funeral for this family. The Solicitors again have not made things easy regarding the funeral and also getting the payment made to you was my main concern but thank goodness it did arrive.
My thanks yet again to your staff, especially to Fiona who went over and above to help me out with the arrangements, personally visiting with paperwork to be signed while she social distanced herself as I am self isolating was very much appreciated.
Having to do all arrangementsover the phone has not been easy but as usual Tadman’s were always helpful with everything.

We chose to come to A & C Tadman Ltd in Wanstead as we had used the other branch in Jubilee Street, but thought it would be easier to use this branch as we lived close by. I am glad that we did, we first met with Terry, and then when we arranged Scott was there, he was delightful, so nice and efficient. Afterwards we popped in and met other staff members who all seemed to be very kind, they knew about our funeral and what we needed and seemed to communicate very well. Nothing was too much trouble, and the constantly kept us updated.

The branch is beautifully set out, my wife thought if was very comforting and welcoming, we were given fresh drinks whilst making arrangements, and the continuous care until the day of the funeral was exceptional.

We had a Horse Drawn Carriage which was stunning, the flowers were beautiful and I must say so many of our family commented on the beautiful Limousines we had.

I can’t thank the team enough, nor can the family.

They made everything so easy.

I came to A & C Tadman Ltd by chance, coming across an advert in a local publication, I chose them because of their professionalism from the start, I called them on the evening of Boxing day after sadly loosing my partner, it was the on call number, but the gentleman I spoke to was calm, kind, patient and so caring. I then went into Jubilee Street and met De, who was amazing, kind, caring and showed so much empathy. She allowed me to sit and cry and talk through what I needed to do, she really did care about how I was feeling, was I alone, or struggling.

She made a point of making me and my family a cup of tea and she somehow found the time to talk to us all. I was able to leave everything to her, including the flowers, she even helped with the after service get together, as my nephew and I had no idea what to do. She recommended some venues. Right up to the day of the funeral I felt they cared.

on the day of the funeral, the whole team turned up and were so respectful and nice the Conductor was very much in control and knew what he needed to do, and the attendants were smart and professional and took care of us, making sure we were warm, and comfortable whilst in the cars.

Even a few weeks afterwards De called to see if I was ok and we needed anything else.

I would definitely come here again, Thank you to all of you.

Dad passed very quickly and I was left to deal with so much on my own, having family everywhere but London. I rang several places before someone told me to call A & C Tadman in Jubilee Street, I didn’t even know where it was, but after my phone call with one of their other branches I knew that I need to find it and go and see someone, I wasn’t brushed off with all the questions I had, they just answered them and then suggested I call their London office.

I made an appointment and met with De first who could not have been kinder, she bought some reality back to me, and we talked about all sorts which helped me, as I felt so alone, De took control and helped me with everything, even comforting me when I need it, everyone I met was so friendly and helped out, they all just did what they need to do. They went and fetched Dad straight away so at least I knew he was safe and with people who cared.

I went back a couple of days later, and there was still the calmness and caring behaviour. They did it all for me.

On the day of the funeral, Steven could not have looked after us more, he was so professional and looked great (Dad would have loved it), we arrived and De had coffee for us, and then Steven took over and all of us felt so looked after.

We had a lovely car, even that was looked all shiny and clean as if someone had been up all night cleaning it, the driver was so sweet, he was chatting away and making us feel so comfy, even Mum who was crying felt at ease with him, didn’t get his name but thank you.

A & C Tadman – Kind, Caring and so professional

After looking around for the right Funeral Director, we chose to use A & C Tadman Ltd,

We could not ask for more, they were so kind and provided us with all the answers to our questions without pressuring us. De helped us with the service details, what do in regards the after service gathering, she even helped us find caterers. She greeted us all with smiles and showed that she cared, even asking her team to stay open late so we could visit the chapels after work, everyone was so kind.

On the day we had a lovely service, we chose a Humanist Service and were lucky to be introduced to Anne Cross by A & C Tadman and she wrote up a lovely service. The Tadman team were as there reputation states, helpful, professional, we could not fault anything they did for us, nothing was too much trouble. The kindest shown was immense and touched us all.

I went into the Bethnal Green Branch, and received a very nice welcome, and a lot of help, finding things difficult to understand at my age, I felt very supported.

I went in everyday to sit with my sister, and each time the lady, Susan made me very welcome and had time to make me a cup of tea, and chat.

She was very kind, and helped me with the paperwork and told me what to do and what I needed.

I wanted to say thank you.

Loosing my grandmother was very difficult and I came home from university to help my mum arrange the funeral, I went to about five local funeral directors in the area, and finally decided to recommend you to the family.

From my visits, everyone seemed to be very clinical and cold, going into Tadman’s I was greeted by a lady who smiled and asked me to sit down, I explained what I was doing and why, and she was so helpful, and did not expect anything back, she explained the whole process of what I needed to do, and even said, “please call me, if you have any questions” even if you don’t come to us, I am happy to answer any questions, not being expected to make an immediate decision helped me with my choice and being treated so calmly, and in such a personal way, made up my mind.

Every bit of the planning was exceptional, my parents felt at ease, and on the day of the funeral, the whole team were so smart, professional and friendly.

I just wanted to write to say how grateful I am that you were there to support me during the arrangements for my late mother’s funeral.

It was a very sad time for me, and even before mum died, I knew I wanted to come to A & C Tadman Ltd, having seen you and your cars in the street getting ready for other funerals, I knew that my mother would have loved your style and dignified way you all work.

I met with Tim on the street, and he was so lovely, friendly. I was then referred to De by my local florist, and I am so glad that I took their advice, De was so friendly, and welcoming I felt like I was visiting a friend, nothing was too much trouble and when the time came, I did not feel alone, Tim, De and the lads who drove us, were lovely.

Mum looked at peace whilst resting in the chapel, and when I visited her, I knew this would be hard, and going in was made so easy by Big Steven, he was so kind, and respectful.

I can’t thank you enough and really want you to know I am grateful for your kindness.

Dear Jane,

I’m writing to thank A & C Tadman for the superb manner in which the company made all the arrangements for the cremation of my mother-in-law.

From the calm, detailed discussion that Wyn & I has with you on the day following her death through to the day of her cremation when the hearse arrived with the flowers on the top of the coffin, the whole process, from our point of view, was totally free of stress. Tim Tadman ensured that everything at the crematorium was carried out with dignity & compassion and Megan would most certainly have approved!

As I mentioned on the phone, the week after Megan’s cremation we were back at Breakspear for the funeral of a neighbour, which coincidentally was in the same chapel. There was, however, another firm of undertakers and we certainly felt that Tadman’s had provided a vastly superior service. Thank you so every much.

Thank you for your kindness and help during our recent sad time. It is still proving to be a very difficult time for us, coming to terms with what happened it was such a shock and unexpected.

I rang A & C Tadman, to make some enquiries into arranging a funeral, they were just one of several that I called. I spoke to someone who was very efficient but they cared, they spoke to me in a personable and caring manner I immediately made my decision use them to help me arranged my mother’s funeral. I had rung other places, but felt I was being asked to make immediate decisions which is very daunting in particular as I was just dealing with the sudden death of my mum.

Mum had to be collected from Kent, I was updated the whole time and they referred to mum by name all the time to help me. As soon as mum was ready they let me her sit with her for as long as I wanted.

Nothing was too much trouble. The funeral was small, but just what mum wanted and the team who drove us, were lovely, really professional and smart.

all I can say is they helped us through a difficult time and that was what we needed.

I wanted to write this letter, to say thank you to Tim Tadman, and all the team, who helped us at the funeral of my dear husband last Friday 6th February 2015.

The professionalism, dignity and courtesy that the procession was carried out was second to none and was to the highest standard.

Many people commented on the dignified and compassionate professionalism of the day and how the little details that you added made the day even more special for those who loved my husband dearly.

The small details such as the bunch of roses taken from the coffin spray, the beautiful picture of my husband placed in the hearse and in the chapel of rest, was so thoughtful, a lovely touch.

We can’t thank you or the team enough

I needed to write and thank Dee at the new shop in Wanstead, who was great in helping me sort out the funeral for my late mother.

On the day mum died, I rang the office, late at night and a lady answered the phone, Dee, since then I feel that I need to say thank you, she has been really kind, and thoughtful, helping me with some really hard decisions. On the day mum died, I called Tadman’s and spoke to Terry who was very nice and kind. When mum was taken away, the two that took her, were so professional and smart, I am told that there names are Steven and Paul and I want to thank them as well.

Since then I have spoken to other staff and they too have been really helpful and kind. I have had to travel a long way to arrange this funeral but the staff have made it so easy, they can’t help you enough, and nothing is too much trouble.

When I went to the office, Dee was happy to stay later to help me as I was so unsure of everything that we needed to do, she even helped me with the flowers, finding out about mum and what she liked, that goes for the music, I couldn’t decided but they had a list and helped me by listening with me.

On my second meeting I was greeted after a long drive with a nice coffee and made to feel welcome, the Branch in Wanstead is so tastefully decorated and inviting you don’t feel like your about to do the hardest thing in you life and arrange someone’s funeral.

my relatives have always used Tadmans and I can see why, because if this is what you all do, you do it all so well.

Proffesionalism, ease and second to none

Mum sadly passed away and we were at a loss what to do, never arranging a funeral before we were quite daunted. A & C Tadman were recommended to us but a family friend and we are happy we made the right choice.

On our first visit we were met by a man, who was lovely, he helped us with everything, his name was Barry and he told us that as well as driving he did arrange, he made us feel so welcome, we arrive quite late in the day, but we did not feel rushed.

They kept us up to date with everything, even when they bought Mum to the Chapel. We did not have to worry about anything.

Whenever we went into the Jubilee Street Branch, someone always greeted us with a smile, and when we missed the bus, they event wanted to help us get home, which is very nice.

we have had to use A & C Tadman twice this year, and both times they were helpful, friendly and very warm. They really wanted to help us, and gave us such good advice.

They didn’t push us to make decisions and we felt in control of the arrangements. De helped us both times, and each time she was very helpful and friendly.

A Unique Occasion

From the moment that me and my son came into arrange the family of my wife, we were treated so kindly. Nothing was any trouble and De who helped us arrange was lovely, she made us very welcome and nothing was any trouble. She explained everything that we needed to know, and even helped make the right choice for a coffin as we had not idea. When we came in the next time De was not in the office but were helped by Terry who knew everything we had already discussed with De and couldn’t have been nicer to us.

On the day we had a conductor who was very helpful, and the team that came along were very smart and looked lovely.

After the funeral De helped me talk about the death of my wife and understood how I felt, she even gave me some gently careers advice to help me get back into work after spending so long away from work to care for my wife.

We have just lost our father, and were unsure of what to do about arranging the funeral. We rang over the weekend, and spoke to a very helpful lady, who was pleasant and very keen to help us. Although this was over the weekend and the offices were closed, we never felt alone, and were reassured that Dad had been looked after.

We visited the branch in Jubilee Street after a unpleasant experience with another Funeral Home, the staff were welcoming, and seemed to really care about what we were feeling at the time.

We visited our mum in the Chapel of Rest all week, and not once were we made to feel unwelcome, even on a Saturday, Steven who was in the office really cared.

The day was very wet, and cold, but we notice the team all looked smart, and did not rush us, they were very respectful.
