Nigel was a friend of mine for some 35 years. Whenever I saw him there was always a funny story he wanted to tell me. My abiding memory will be a story when he was crying with laughter as he was trying to get his words out. A larger than life character. I will miss you Nigel.

  4. Anita Fenwick-Hutchings says:

  10. Helen Heal says:

    Dear Nigel,

You were a boss like no other. I have never known anyone with such a love for living life to the full. I have never known a boss to be able to drink so much coffee; use dog shampoo as mouthwash or to have a work schedule that was so dependent on the success or failure of Chelsea. Being a part of Olympic Group was the most entertaining part of my adult life so far. Thank you for the opportunities and laughter. There is a big gap in many peoples lives now that you have left us.

    Sleep well.

    love Hells Bells

  11. Susan Edwardes says:

My dearest friend, we had some great times and spanning 40 years, you’ve given me fantastic memories. Huge gap in my life, will miss our Sunday Lunches and the weekly football on Match of the Day. R.I.P my special friend x

  12. Amanda Wallington says:

    Dearest Nige,

You always made me laugh (mainly taking the micky out of my daftness, in a kind way!). You always had time for coffee, cake and a chat and made me see sense on more than one occasion. I’ll miss ribbing you about Chelsea and your sense of humour and fun, even when you weren’t feeling great. No longer suffering you gained your wings. RIP Nige, I’ll always have fond memories of you

  13. Kenny & John Eaton says:

So many great times!!. Chelsea to the core, true friend & leader.
    You will be remembered always.
    R.I.P
