Rest in peace Nigel. I wish things could have been different but will always be grateful for my lovely children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
RIP Nigel we are going to miss our friendship of 43 years, free from it all now. xx
Nigel was a friend of mine for some 35 years. Whenever I saw him there was always a funny story he wanted to tell me. My abiding memory will be a story when he was crying with laughter as he was trying to get his words out. A larger than life character. I will miss you Nigel.
There were ups and there were downs, lots of laughter and lots of tears, but throughout we remained good friends, right until the end. You’ve helped me in more ways than you’ll ever know and for that, I thank you. R.I.P. Nigel, will miss you loads.

Goodbye Nige, lots of precious memories:you leaving me outside the Goldstone penniless (we’ll talk about that again) with just my train ticket to get home. But the best will always be playing numerous games of pool and always singing l can’t keep my eyes off of you….brotherhood. And our love of non ferrous metals.

Dear Nigel,
You were a boss like no other. I have never known anyone with such a love for living life to the full. I have never known a boss to be able to drink so much coffee; use dog shampoo as mouthwash or to have a work schedule that was so dependent on the success or failure of Chelsea. Being a part of Olympic Group was the most entertaining part of my adult life so far. Thank you for the opportunities and laughter. There is a big gap in many peoples lives now that you have left us.

You always made me laugh (mainly taking the micky out of my daftness, in a kind way!). You always had time for coffee, cake and a chat and made me see sense on more than one occasion.
