They say only the good die young and this is so true here. Mike, you were an absolute gentleman and someone whose honesty and humility was plain for all to see. You were one of the first people I befriended when we moved from the US and we made an instant connection. Your family became ours and that will never be forgotten. Claire, George, Sheila and Matt, we are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Mike and offer our deepest of condolences to you all. Mike was a diamond and they are rare to find.

    In loving memory of Mike,

Let us take a moment to reflect on the impact that Mike had on each of our lives. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his pirit lives on in the memories we hold dear.

Let us find solace in the knowledge that Mike touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. May he’s legacy serve as a source of inspiration for us all as we continue on our own journeys.

In this time of sorrow, let us find strength in one another, offering support, love, and compassion to those who need it most. Together, may we find comfort in the shared memories and the knowledge that Mike’s spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Rest in peace, dear Mike. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.”

    With heartfelt condolences,

  6. Claire Farquhar says:

Mike, you are just the best husband, dad and dog dad not to mention my absolute best friend. I’m heartbroken!

You had such a positive impact on those you met and did everything for me, George and the family. You treated our friends and George’s like extended family. You were the most responsible person in one way but the cool parent that the kids got on with as well.

We always knew we were your absolute number one you cared, supported and loved us but also told us when we were wrong.
I’m so lucky we met that day through work, and am incredibly lucky I got to love you and be the happiest I’ve ever been with you. We had so many plans for our happy ever after that now have to change but I’ll do my dam hardest to make you proud and will always keep your memory and spirit going.

You’ve left me with great support family, your friends, colleagues and our friends from the football community, a bunch of kids and parents you were so very proud of.

I miss you terribly, but I’m doing what you asked, trying to stay strong and keep going!
Mike you literally are one in a million the best of the best
Your kind laid back nature, your intelligence and forceful sense of loyalty, strong morals, your great sense of humour and those everything will be okay hugs are missed everyday.
Just know we love you forever and always xxxxx Claire & George xxxxx

  7. Mia Brame says:

Heaven has definitely gained an angel with you Mike! Thank you for all the memories we have shared over the years, i will miss your sense of humour just like mine, your thoughtfulness with kind and caring ways. Thank you for always being there for me and looking out for me sometimes from a far but it always meant so much to me. Thank you for bringing my friend’s smile back that went from ear to ear and being a hero for George. Thank you for your endless cups of teas (even when we did moan Claire wouldn’t let us have enough sugar haha), take aways and always making me feel welcome any time anywhere you heart was massive and I’m lucky to have called you a friend.

My love and support goes to all your family and you are truly missed

    Love Mia xxxxx
